The 21st century is not anymore where technology is just an enabler but a powerhouse driver restructuring the economy and society globally. For Ghana, land of bountiful youthful dynamism and unrealized potential, embracing digital literacy and technology entrepreneurship has never been more imperative. The Ghana Youth Technology Summit 2025 (GYTS 25) puts this immediacy into perspective by articulating technology as the cornerstone of national social and economic transformation.
Digital technology, ranging from mobile internet access to artificial intelligence-powered platforms, provides young Ghanaians with an advantaged point of leverage to bypass structural impediments like youth unemployment, low-quality education, and infrastructural deficiencies.
